Turkey’s central bank reserves reached a new record high in the week ending Oct. 18, reaching $159.365 billion, the highest level ever recorded. This rise reflects a significant boost in the central bank’s foreign currency and gold reserves, and comes as part of the Turkish government’s efforts to support currency stability and support the economy in light of the economic challenges the country is facing.
